As many of you know, on Sept 23rd 2025, Miranda (Libero) suffered a massive stroke.
If you know Miranda, you know she has spent her life showing up for everyone around her: family, friends and her community. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
UPDATE: We are BLOWN AWAY by your love and support for Miranda! As a result of your generosity, we are moving this goal from 10K to 25K. Miranda’s journey is just getting started and she is going to need a lot of support along the way.
Here are some more things that she will need for the year ahead:
- Hospital bed - $2000
- Physiotherapy - $5000 for 3 months
- Occupational Therapy - $5000 for 3 months
Immediate needs:
- Essential home equipment for safety and mobility (stairlift, supportive aids for transferring from bed to chair, bed rails, remote controlled bed etc.)
- A lift-assist recliner for comfort and safe transfers
- 3-6 months of healthy meal deliveries
- Wheelchair taxi rides to rehab twice a week
Future needs:
Down the road, Miranda may need a more accessible vehicle, home renovations or other medical accessories. Thank you for being part of her journey for the long term!
