Help Us Honor Our Beloved Grandmother

Hello everyone,

As many of you know, our grandmother passed away on the morning of July 10th after a 4-month battle with stomach cancer.

For those who don’t know our grandmother, she was a loving and patient devote woman of God. She was not only a grandmother to those in my family, but a grandmother to many in the Sudanese community.

She came to the US in 2005 and has remained the strength of our family since then. She loved God, her family and friends, the farmer’s market, and WWE. Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of all those she met, but we can only rejoice in the fact that she is no longer in pain.

Not everyone may know, but this year has been a difficult one for my family. My uncle passed at the end of January under circumstances that we still to this day do not know. Then my great-uncle, the brother of my grandmother, lost his battle with cancer last month. As you can imagine, burial arrangements for three people in one year is more than we can bear at this time. Any and all donations to go towards my grandmother’s burial would be greatly appreciated.
