Lacey's Cancer Fund
Donation protected
As some of you may or may not know back in Feb, Lacey found a lump on her right breast. We immediately went to urgent care and they confirmed what we found. After several months of tests and back and forth with several doctors, Lacey was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer.
Back in June she had her surgery and they managed to remove the cancer. Even though she is now considered cancer free, she still has almost 2 dozen chemo treatments and radiation to contend with.
To make matters even worse, on Aug 7th she went in for a routine minor surgery for a port-a-cath. The known but small risk was a possible collapse of her lung. We were reassured this was rare. But as our luck would have it, her lung ended up collapsing the following morning.
Two ambulance rides later she ends up hospitalized until her lung reinflates after they put in a chest tube. We were in a hospital for six days total. Luckily her lung reinflated and she is now home resting.
Anyone who knows Lacey knows how great she is. She loves and supports everyone to no end. She is by far the most selfless and giving person I've ever known, other than my mother.
Lacey and I do not like asking for help or money of any kind. And we are very aware that everyone is having a tough time currently. But if you can donate, anything helps. If you can't donate, please just share.
