In Memory of Rick Mariano

A lot of people have asked for ways to help myself and my brothers through this very painful time after unexpectedly losing our father.

Our dad wished for no funeral and with that, no cards or flowers. He did not want to be mourned but rather for his wild life to be celebrated.

He instead wished for his three children to take a road trip cross-country to one of his most favorite places, Lake Tahoe. There we will spread his ashes for him to forever roam the mountains and be free. Living off the land and in the mountains was everything our dad ever wanted. Knowing that his spirit will be able to do just that is extremely comforting to us. 

So if anyone would like to contribute in any way, then they can donate to a fund to help my brothers and I make this trip. It is not necessary but any contribution is also much appreciated. Please just know that the kind words that we have received from everyone are enough and have helped us tremendously.

Always remember to “Live on Brother!”, as Rick would say.
