My name is Natalie Coffman and I am trying to get help for my brother Ryan, my sister-in-law Brandi and their 6 week old baby girl, Olive, who has been in critical condition at Riley Hospital for the past 5 weeks! Olive contracted a common cold virus when she was 4 days old that caused her heart to become inflamed (severe myocarditis) so she was transferred to Riley on Friday, October 20th where they had to place her on full life support (ECMO). The doctors were forced to wean her off the ECMO machine prematurely this past Sunday (11/5) due to her having a large brain bleed from the high dose of blood thinner (Heparin) required for the life support machine not to get blood clots. Thankfully her heart was able to function well enough to sustain life and is currently around half capacity of what a normal heart function should be. Any funds received would be used to cover medical expenses, everyday life expenses, and wages lost.
