Stem Cell Treatment

Hi, my name is Ed and this is my beautiful baby boy, Patrick.

I hope that one day, Patrick will be able to sit up unassisted and be able to eat a meal by himself.

After being born full-term, our lives were shattered when complications during birth led to Patrick having cerebral palsy. This past year, we’ve faced mountains to help him, from intense physiotherapy to calling the NICU our second home. It is for this reason my wife has given up work indefinitely to care for him full-time.

The best hope for Patrick to gain some sense of normality (potentially being able to move and eat independently) is stem cell transplantation, but the obstacle standing between Patrick and that dream is the cost of his treatment. With this treatment, there is every chance Patrick can blossom, be free of his pain and significantly improve his quality of life. We are desperately trying to raise funds for his treatment.

As parents, if we could take the pain of our children and wear it for a lifetime just so they don’t have to, it would be without hesitation.
