On the morning of October 7th, 2025, our lives changed forever. On his way to work, Rickie suffered a sudden seizure behind the wheel, causing him to lose control and crash into a tree at full speed.

The impact was devastating. Both of Rickie’s legs were crushed and severely damaged, leaving him unable to work. He now faces a long, painful road to recovery — surgeries, therapy, and months of rehabilitation. We are also now out of a car. This vehicle was the only one we had at the moment.

Through it all, Rickie has shown incredible strength and determination. But the truth is, the physical and emotional recovery is only part of the battle — the financial strain of hospital bills, rehabilitation, and time away from work is overwhelming for our family.
