Help Heather on the Road to Good Health

I am suffering from a chronic illness called Hashimoto. Hashimoto is an autoimmune disease of the thyroid. Basically what happens is that the thyroid gland attacks and kills itself. It feels like being a prisoner in your own body, and I never quite know how I will feel from one day to the next. I am doing everything I can to fight this holistically and through nutrition. I went over ten years and was misdiagnosed. I've gone through two hospitalizations and countless doctors. Finally, I've found a doctor who will prescribe the medication I need, but it is all self pay. I work FT but have no insurance as I can no longer afford the cost, and it was not covering my thyroid expenses. I am a person who loves life. I work as a preschool teacher and also as an actor and writer. This disease robs me of the ability to do the things I love. I would appreciate any help you could offer.
