James Pease passed away on October 29th, 2017, at Hospice of Cincinnati-East, following his battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife, Paula Pease (married July 29th, 2005), his stepdaughter Audrey and stepson, Alex, as well as his mother, Emma. James was a graduate of Miami University and spent his career as director of bands at Cardington, Amelia and Glen Este High Schools. James enjoyed golf, big bands, and bird watching. A memorial fund has been produced in honor of James, and can be contributed to through Fifth Third Bank under the James Pease Memorial and Scholarship Fund.
