The love of my life needs cancer treatment.

Val and I had a chance meeting 4+ years ago, and I knew instantly my life was forever changed. All of the difficulties, surgeries, stress, divorce, melted away and I suddenly saw hope again.
We have been together ever since. He brings sunshine into a room with his positivity and infectious laughter.
Being a NYC transplant, with world travel musician background, he somehow manages to connect with everyone, and bring diverse groups of people together for food, games, laughter, and community. EVERYONE feels better after they have been with Val.
We live across from Halcyon, here in Alpharetta GA, and have been amazed at how things have changed over the past few years in the "small town" we thought we were in.
HOW COVID AFFECTED US:
Both of us were laid off due to COVID, and had been dabbling in ideas of "our own business " almost since the day we met. Since the Governor decided people still affected by COVID didn't need any more assistance, we had about $20 to our name, and I was filing bankruptcy, so we used the only resource we had, and made a business of luxury black SUV passenger transportation.
We have been blessed to have amazing clients who we get to really know, have conversations with, and have quickly recognized the importance of true customer service, and just being genuine. We love this area, and are proud to have the opportunity to serve our community with safe and quality transportation.
COVID has affected everyone, but as a startup company with no investors or capital, we have struggled with startup costs, and bills, and haven't been able to afford health insurance the past 2 years.
VAL'S DIAGNOSIS:
When Val began experiencing unusual and painful symptoms, we saved our tips to have him seen by a Doctor. That Doctor turned into 5 more in a matter of days, with lab tests, biopsies, and more tests.
Everyone has been totally shocked at the severity of his condition because he looks like the picture of health.
At stage III, we still await tests and various consultations with specialists, hoping there has been minimal metastasis, and that eventual surgery and treatments will give him another chance at life.
Val is a Father, a Grandfather, an Uncle, Son, and Friend to all.
REQUEST:
I am humbly asking for help while the love of my life undergoes cancer treatment.
If you have been blessed this year, I humbly ask that you consider helping a family in need. It doesn't have to be us! There are so so many who need help right now. We pay blessings forward every chance we have, but are now in our time of need.
Many blessings.
