This is Dawson my 8 year old son, avid lover of outer space and future astronaut. He is absolutely one of the most kind hearted, intelligent and caring boys around! Reason I am posting this is because he has had so many conversations with me about helping the homeless, or people who need help. He wants them to be watched over by God and how he worries about them as well as prayed for them and asks why not very many people help. He has now asked for the third time if there is a way we can help especially since it's getting cold and closer to the holidays. His original plan was to make them all Thanksgiving dinners and bring them blankets then deliver them all. But instead we have decided to make care packages (Blessing boxes) of hygiene, warm clothing and food items. He also wants to collect toys or money for toys so he can adopt families and hand out gifts to children who may not be receiving any this Christmas. He has had 16 children inquire within 24 hours of posting. If anyone would like to donate to the cause please let Dawson and I know. I want to show him that his kind hearted jesture will not go unheard and he can make a difference in the world!
