This Go Fund Me page was created on behalf of Brooke & Tanner Meier. It is being managed by her dear friend Cerella Bontemps.

Brooke was diagnosed with adrenal gland cancer at stage 4 in January 2022 with metastasized tumors on her liver and lungs. This type of cancer is incredibly rare, only impacting 1 in 2 million people annually. Unfortunately this also means the western medicine treatments available are limited.

It was a long journey for Brooke and her family as they tried immunotherapy & 3 variations of chemotherapy (2 of which were considered clinical trials). Along the way she experienced complications due to the overproduction of hormones, low white blood counts, immobilizing back pain, and blood clots which accounted for several stays at the hospital. After all western medicine treatments options were exhausted, the family also pursued holistic methods to treat her cancer, which were not covered by insurance.

Brooke lost her battle on October 1st, 2022. She passed peacefully surrounded by love. She expressed immense gratitude for the life she lived and the beautiful connections she made along the way. She felt so special from all the support she received throughout her journey.
