Support Mike Martin's Battle Against Cancer

My name is Suzanne Vizzini.

I've been friends with Mike and Pam for about 29 years. Hard to believe. I'd like to share Mike's cancer story and the reason for starting this GoFundMe fundraiser.

Mike was first diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in May of 2022. In June, they made their first trip to Oasis of Hope Hospital in Playas de Tijuana to begin his fight to be healed. Their first trip was three weeks of holistic treatments to strengthen his body for the targeted therapy his oncologist in Orange advised. God was miraculously healing him as his cancer numbers dropped quickly. He was left with a small speck in the bottom of his right lung. In 2024, Mike had an eight-hour surgery to remove 1/3 of his right lung to get rid of the remaining cancer. Shortly after, he was diagnosed with metastatic bone cancer. His pain is intolerable at times, but he continues to be active and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord, God, and Savior at HB pier and when they go to Mexico... a long-time calling from the Lord to share wherever he goes. This week they will be making their 4th trip to Oasis to seek holistic treatment along with the oncologist treatment here to increase his chances of survival. These trips and treatments, although helpful, are not covered by insurance. We are praying for Mike's complete healing and restoration. We are also trusting God to provide for his care.
