My name is Mackenzie Sessoms!

I am a recent 2020 High School graduate, and I need some help. I know that at this moment, there is so much going on in our lives, from COVID-19, to the recent resurgence of the struggles of our black community, but I am on my last legs here, and I am desperate for any help for my education.

I have been accepted to a wonderful University in Virginia for all 4 years, and I am excited to be moving in and resuming my education there! The problem is, I have little to no money to pay off the remaining amount of money for my semesters.
I was lucky enough to receive scholarship from the school that covers most of my funds, but my problem is that I have a whopping $14,000+ to pay for the rest of my time.

I have been doing scholarships since Junior year in hopes of receiving any small amount to help pay it off, but so far, I have had no luck in winning anything. It is only thanks to my high GPA and academic prowess that I have managed to keep this scholarship my University is giving me, because my parents have debt and cannot help me pay for it, either.

I know I am asking for a lot, and that probably no one will even care about this, but I needed to try anything to help me pay for school. I am desperate to make it through college, and I will do any work I can to get through school one more time. I would be so thankful to receive literally anything from this, and to show my appreciation for it, I will give everything over my goal to animal charity, and any other foundations that need the money for a good cause.
