#4Nolan - Support for 11 year old to beat cancer

Hello, my name is Angie Chavez and this fundraiser is being organized to give support to my nephew and his entire family as they navigate through this time.

Nolan is 11 years old and lives in Stevensville, MI. He loves all sports, but especially football. He is a huge UofM fan. Nolan loves gaming and spending time with his family. Nolan's parents and 5 siblings are all fighting this battle together and need as much support as possible. Some of the funds donated will be used to pay medical bills as well as all of the costs associated with travel and lodging. Kelly has also stepped away from her job in order to be with Nolan, so some funds will be used to supplement that loss of income. Extra funds will help support the care and planning that is needed to ensure that the rest of the household can continue to run smoothly while they are away during treatments.

Nolan is a sweet, funny and full of life boy who has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma cancer that started as a tumor, growing from his sternum. It has spread and is now in his lungs, vertebrae, hips and femur. He is undergoing treatment at Helen Devos in Grand Rapids. He will be undergoing an aggressive treatment plan of chemotherapy and radiation for 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, Nolan will have scans and testing done to determine what progress has been made. At that point, he will begin another 16 weeks of treatment. Nolan is very strong, super tough and he is ready to fight this battle!
