Help with my rent please

Hello, my name is Steve Ali. I am a 52 year old electrician and I live by myself in a quaint little 2 bedroom home with a wonderful collection of houseplants. I live in Dayton, Ohio.

This past December, I had a heart attack that required 2 stints. I have missed a lot of work due that and the fact that I’ve been struggling with an alcohol addiction for the past few years. I’ve had the addiction most of my life, but it’s gotten at its worst the past few years.

I’ve been working hard to get my health back up to par and I just got out of rehab this past Friday (3/29).

I have four beautiful daughters that are such an inspiration to me to get healthy and clean myself up. I did everything I could in my powers to get myself healthy again and sober again with exercise, rehab, and consistent counseling and aftercare. I’m feeling fantastic!

I did good for my well-being, but that really hit me hard in my finances. I’ve missed well over a month of work ( fortunately, I still have a job ) and now I’m behind on everything.

I did manage to pay my utilities or at least hold them at bay, but I am desperately needing help for my rent.

I need to get $2600 by 18 April or they’re going to evict me and throw me out. (I owe for March and now April )

If there’s anything that anyone can do to help me, I sure would appreciate it and I promise to pay it forward.

I’m also a highly skilled electrician with 30 years of experience. I’m not opposed to a bartering service, if you are near by.

I’m trying to do everything I can to get this issue resolved. I sure would appreciate y’all. Thank you so much for reading.
