My name is Jami De Sena, I am a father, husband, Scout leader, self employed carpenter. On May 31st 2018 I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. I have no memory of what happened, I went out for a ride and woke up a day later in intensive care of the trauma unit. I had three facial surgeries and one arm surgery before I woke up. Then I had another to remove bone fragments from my nasal cavity. I had metal plates placed in my arm and cheek and eye socket. My jaw is broken as well as my front teeth. I only have minimal health insurance since I have a plan that I pay for personally. I am scheduled to have three more surgeries. In addition to the dental procedures. All of which is going to be costly.

  My Scouts and I are involved in community service projects, including feeding the homeless and Toys For Smiles. We have enjoyed the projects immensely.

  The doctors have told me to expect an eight week recovery at the least. I am very aware of how this is going to affect my family and I. My wife Sylvia is taking off as much time as she possibly can. My ex wife Danielle and my son Sal have also been extremely supportive. The church that I belong to has been a huge moral support. I am not the kind of person that asks for help, but I am over my head.
