Patch's Operation

Hello, I'm Lucas and as much as I hate to be writing this I'm asking for any help for patch's operation costs.

Patch started coming to my house over 2 years ago. We'd never seen him before but he just decided to make our home his own. We didn't know whether he was stray or had owners but in any case it was like wherever I went he went.

A couple of nights ago he was shot.

We took him to the vets anyway even though he wasn't officially our cat. Of course the vets had to call his real owners to inform them that he'd been shot.

Their reply was that they don't want him anymore.

His leg has been shattered by the shot and he started having difficulty breathing. He now needs a steel plate putting in his leg to help reconstruct his femur.

The vets then asked us if we'd like to pay for the operation and have him signed over to us. Of course the answer was yes. Unfortunately however we can't just come up with £1500 otherwise I'd pay it all immediately.

So I'm asking for any help at all even if it's just pennies. I want my hairy baby back home.
