Nova will THANKFULLY not be needing the MRI. This means I will be giving the money raised to my mom since she fronted me the money for the emergency vet visit & her meeting with the neurologist. 

If any money gets donated here on out it will be going towards my Aunts celebration of life (who blessed me with my Nova girl)

I am posting because my life has turned upside within these past 2 weeks and I need help.

On early morning February 5- I was assaulted by someone I had barely met that night. Under the influence, unable to get up, I passed out with my friend next to me. I woke up and she was gone. He then began assaulting me. I had been saying no over & over, but he just didn’t care. I was able to get to my phone to text my friend to come help me and said that I had just been r*ped. She was in the other room, but figured the stranger she met that evening was more important to finish business with & told me to wait. She left me to be assaulted. Finally coming too I was able to run out & contact authorities. That morning I had a r*pe kit done & filed a report against the individual.

Over the course of these last few weeks, I was unable to go to work until just 2 days ago (2/16) and it was hard to do normal activities. My anxiety, depression, and disassociation has been at an all time high. I slept the entire time, cried, blamed myself, and had constant thoughts of self harm/suicide.

I am entirely thankful for my support system. My parents, boyfriend & siblings. They’ve been trying to get me back in the groove of things. Taking me out & not letting me close off the world.

I have finally been coming out of the fog and resuming my normal routine. Last night was the first night I was able to really function normally.

Last night my dog, (2/17) Nova & I, went to my sisters house to sleepover with my nieces, nephews & keep her company. I was there for only 20 minutes. My niece took my puppy girl outside to go potty, then we heard a crash. My dog was laid across the ground. She was able to look around, but couldn’t move. I quickly lifted her up & carried her inside. We rushed over to emergency where they ran different tests for her. After many vet visits these past few days they have recommended for her to receive an MRI + spinal tap. This will cost around $5,000-$6,000. If she is to be rushed into surgery then it’d bump up the cost to $10,000 that same day. 

I have lost myself, someone I thought to be a best friend, and I CAN NOT lose my dog.

Many of you know she has helped me so much with my mental health since I got her in my life. There has been many times where I have wanted to commit & she is what kept me here. The nights I am alone I am able to take her out for drives, walks and lay with her at night. She is a big part of my life line.

With the assault that happened to me & now my dog in emergency I am a complete mess. Right now, I am not in a place financially to come up with this entire payment & I am begging for help.

If anyone is able to help with anything. Advice, resources, prayer, or financially it is all appreciated.
