Support fund for Dan Di Guido

On Wednesday July 29th our great friend  Dan Di Guido was in a terrible motorcycle accident.  He was hit head on by a truck. He had to be resuscitated at the scene and air lifted to Good Samaritan Hospital. He  sustained many life threatening injuries including the amputation of his leg.  He has been fighting for his life since the accident and has endured an 8 hour surgery.  The surgery has helped repair his broken clavicle and broken pelvis but has also resulted in Dan having external fixation put on his hips to hold broken bones together while they heal. Screws and clamps have been used to hold the device to his pelvic bones. There will be 10 to 12 weeks of healing until it can be removed and until he'll be able to stand again. Because of a wonderful orthopedic surgeon, his left femur, that was in many pieces, was able to be put back together and saved. He fractured his neck in two places and has suffered a skull fracture which resulted in bleeding on the right side of his brain. During his treatment he had a reaction to his medication going through his IV in his right hand. He had emergency to save the hand and another to close it up with stitches and skin graphing. His circulation is still poor at this time. Dan will go through months of rehabilitation to learn to walk again with a prosthetic. He will need therapy on his right hand and upper extremities.     

Dan is one of the most caring and loving individuals. He would not hesitate to help his family, his friends, or his fellow man.  Please contribute and help our dear friend and his family with all the expenses and financial hardships.
