On January 9, 2019, Nick and Carly welcomed Olivia James Brindley into this world.  Although everyone was thrilled to welcome Olivia, her arrival was a bit early and has led to several difficult challenges for Olivia and family to overcome.  Due to cardiac issues, Olivia has yet to leave the hospital and Nick and Carly are patiently and eagerly awaiting the opportunity to bring their new bundle of joy home.  

As many of you know Nick has dedicated countless hours to coaching our kids and helping to shape both their character and their playing ability both on and off the field.  Nick is routinely leaving the pitch on nights and weekends and driving directly to the hospital to spend time with his lovely daughter.  His commitment to managing his job and his new responsibilities as a Father are both encouraging and inspirational.  Carly is faced with the same challenges and has demonstrated incredible strength and support throughout these difficult days.  The wonderful news is that Olivia’s procedures have been very successful, and it is highly likely that she is going to live a long, loving and prosperous life with a wonderful family.

Although the Brindley’s are incredibly excited about the upcoming opportunity to bring their new bundle of joy home, they also realize that the fight is not over.  Unfortunately, as they welcome their beautiful baby into their home they will also be facing the challenges and demands associated with the financial burdens that accompanied Olivia into this world.   Olivia’s hospital stay was lengthy and the incredible professional attention that she received from the most capable pediatric healthcare professionals was not without significant costs. 

Given the Brindley’s incredible commitment to our kids and our club, we think it would be wonderful to help them minimize their stress in hopes of allowing them to focus their time, attention and love on their precious new family addition.   As such, we would like to start a fund to provide some financial support to both Nick and Carly in thanks and consideration for all that they have done for our kids over the past few years.  We would like to welcome anyone and everyone to join us in our efforts and thank every one of you in advance for your kindness and generosity. 

Here is to baby Olivia moving onwards and upwards alongside her loving parents over the years to come!
