Help Joe Recover From Covid-19
Donation protected
Hello all,
Since the second week of august Joseph has been very sick and went to urgent care to be seen. A few days after that, his covid-19 test was positive and his symptoms were getting worse. He went to the hospital, was discharged immediately and was told to just quarantine. Joe kept getting worse to the point where he couldn’t walk, so we went to another emergency/urgent care and they said he will be admitted to the hospital. There were no rooms available in our area so he was transported to Bayfront Hospital in Port Charlotte. He had been diagnosed with covid-19 and pneumonia at the same time. He was slowly fighting to get better and after two weeks he was discharged. A few days after he was developing symptoms of a cough, trouble breathing, and low oxygen level to the point where he could barely walk to the bathroom again. Joe is now admitted back to the hospital closer to home at Gulf Coast Medical Center, fighting pneumonia still. At this moment he is taking medications and is on oxygen fighting to get his lungs to work. Some of you may know and others may not, while Joe was in the hospital his roommate Jody was also sick and diagnosed with Covid-19 as well. While Jody was in the hospital he passed away just recently on September 6th, 2021, Leaving Joe in a difficult situation where he now has to find a new place to live, while still fighting to get better. Most of you know joe as a hardworking, caring, loving man, who would do anything to help anyone and think of himself last. He tries to do everything he can to take care of his 10 year old son Jojo, his girlfriend Cynthia, as well as his German Shepard Chance. But due to him being sick and out of work, he is in a huge struggle and trying to put his life back together while still admitted in the hospital. We all know how Joe doesn’t like to ask for help and just tries to keep everything going on his own, but he’s at a point where he cannot control what is happening at the moment, except to try and get better day by day with the care of the doctors and nurses in the hospital. Unfortunately, there is currently no time frame of when he will be discharged, as well as how long his recovery will be from having pneumonia. He currently is asking for any blessings or help that anybody can give him. It would mean so much and he would be forever grateful for any support. This go fund me will help Joe in many financial situations & sudden life changes he is currently facing.
