ANIMUS is a feature length film. A serial killer - romance - drama. An LGBTQ+ film.
Production began December 2019 ended June 2020! Your donation will go towards paying our actors and funding our festival run which will begin late August! After production and post-production are completed, we will unleash this movie onto every festival imaginable and hold a stellar premiere at a movie theater! We may do a second campaign to help with that, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it!
Release will be November 20th, 2020. Your Support: Will mean the financial burden that would have been entirely out-of-pocket will be alleviated some! I'm willing to pay what is needed to make this movie a reality, but as we all do, I have other financial responsibilities (groceries, bills, etc.) that would keep us from investing what this story deserves. It will allow us to support our cast and crew as we work to develop our craft.
Synopsis: Jo and Jane have it all. Good jobs, good friends, and a good marriage. Yet, hidden behind their smiling faces is a dark secret: The two are addicted to killing. The act of murder gives them an exhilarating thrill and an unbeatable high. Their codependent relationship enables them to give into their addiction, with no regard for the lives they take. But as the lovers sink deeper into their wicked ways, their relationship is put to the test. Forcing them to choose between their destructive desires or each other.
