Hi everyone, my name is Marlene. I’m Valerie’s youngest daughter. My momma was my built-in best friend, and no words can ever describe the amount of love I have for my mom. She was such an extraordinary person who definitely knew how to leave an impression on anyone who entered her life. She sure had one huge heart that I’ll always admire. She was so strong and definitely so stubborn. She had been sick for quite some time but that didn’t stop her from hanging Christmas lights on the roof or mowing the lawn. She knew in her heart what she wanted and she wasn’t going to let anything stop her. My mom had a determined mindset and whatever she aimed for, it was going to get done; that goes towards many aspects in her life that she went through yet stuck it out.

There’s honestly nobody else like my mom out there and I’m extremely heartbroken that we all have to part ways with who was such an amazing person.

I know my mom loved each and every one of you and I wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers and thoughtful words on her behalf.
