Hi, my name is Adrienne and I’m raising money for Harleigh Parker ( affectionally nicknamed HP) who was born 2 months early and has spent her whole 14 months of life in the hospital. HP was born in North Jersey, but eventually she was moved to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia via helicopter because CHOP has more experience and is better equipped to help HP with her rare condition.

Harleigh’s mother had an extremely hard pregnancy for most of the 9 months she carried HP. Before and during her pregnancy and after giving birth, HP’s mom pursued her Masters degree in Psychology. Somehow during the countless days and nights at CHOP she obtained her degree. But even with the degree, it’s a huge strain on HP’s parents because they keep encountering road blocks after road blocks when it comes to financial assistance from the State. Although there is income coming in, it’s very minimal and they are just getting by, so every little bit helps.

Unfortunately, because Harleigh has a trach and a feeding tube her mom has to stay at home to take care of her and will be unable to work for awhile. Harleigh requires so many things and because she’s been in the hospital for 14 months, sadly nothing she received from her baby shower fits. Her mother has returned what she could for gift cards and has sold what she couldn’t return to the stores to make due. Baby girl HP needs some critical items like a car seat, a stroller, clothes as well as many other things because the doctors have given her parents great news that HP will be coming home soon, so she will require a lot for her arrival home and thereafter!

Hopefully, we can give our support and raise enough money to get the things that Harleigh truly needs to help make her welcome home a little easier. Thank you in advance for your support and contribution on Harleigh’s behalf.
