Hi my name is Edwin. Im a dog walker based in nyc and I am doing everything possible to give my 1.4 year old pup Koi a chance at a good life she deserves. This past friday our lives were upended with an urgent vare vet visit that turned out to be far worse then we expected. Koi is suffering from a form of kidney failure and she has fluids seeping into her abdomen and chest cavity (ascites). The vets at veterinary emergency group were unable to find a root cause and have recommended we go to blue pearl for an internal medicine doctor. We have an appointment this Thursday april 13 at 2pm but I fear she will need to be seen sooner as the fluids that were removed this past friday seem to be re-ocurring and her trembles have gotten worse this past night. Im hoping anybody can help me raise some of the funds to give my pup the best shot of survival.
