Hi everyone, for those who do not know, the Acklin family has experienced some detrimental loses to their family in the last month. I am setting up a GoFundMe on behalf of my close friend Stephanie, her dad Dave, and the rest of her family mourning the loss of two souls gone too soon.
Jeanna Acklin, mother of Steph and Collin and beloved wife of Dave passed tragically last month at the age of 56 after a hard fight with cancer. Jeanna was a major personality in everyone's lives and I think all of us strived to be similar to her. She was an amazing mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend and her life was tragically taken from her far too soon. A few days later, their Aunt Bonnie passed, and we have now gotten the tragic news that Collin Acklin, brother and son of Stephanie and Dave, tragically passed in a car accident at the young age of 21. Collins life was taken far too soon from him and now the Acklin Family has to bury a son, brother, cousin, nephew, friend, and significant other.
The Acklin family are some of the most selfless people I know. No family should have to go through such tragic loses, especially in such a a short amount of time. If you are able to help in anyway to offset some of the costs of these tragic events, I know it will go a long way for their family.
