Support for John Kimble's Journey
Donation protected
Since John's diagnosis of primary progressive multiple sclerosis in May 2014, John's mobility has rapidly declined. In the span of a year, John has gone from working out to using a manual wheelchair 24/7. This type of MS (primary progressive which affects less than 10% of MS patients) is particularly aggressive in John. Unfortunately there are no drugs to help slow the rapid progression of this debilitating disease.
One of the worst symptoms that John experiences every minute of every day is excruciating nerve pain
(imagine your limbs on fire and needles constantly sticking you) and loss of strength that started in his legs and has now moved up to his arms and hands. He is at the point where he needs a powered wheelchair ($10,000)--dr. recommended. We also need to raise money to make his world handicap friendly as well as help him pay for his skyrocketing medical bills. John could go on permanent disability but he wants to keep working and his wife Alex is starting to get her mortgage license so she can work by his side. Let's do all we can to show our love and support and hit this goal! Every dollar counts! God bless you and thank you so much!
