Thank you for helping us reach our first goal! It is very exciting to know that every student will be able to attend the trip to Carnegie Hall! We are overwhelmed by the community's support and generosity! If you would still like to donate, there are many ways your donation can support both ensembles. Your donation can help cover the costs of instrument rentals for the larger instruments that can't be packed, baggage fees for the instruments that will be packed, bus rental for travel to and from the airports, meals, travel, lodging, and so much more! Every dollar you donate helps ease the burden of each student. Thank you!
We are proud to announce that the award-winning Livermore High School Chamber Orchestra and Symphonic Band have earned the prestigious invitation to play on stage at Carnegie Hall in New York City, where world-class musicians have made their marks. Livermore Music, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) boosters organization, is asking our community and business leaders to dig deep and help support this endeavor. This trip is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these students, and your generous donations will help us get there. Your donations will help offset costs for travel, instrument rental, lodging, and more!
More information about Livermore Music: Livermore Music is an independent, nonprofit organization that works closely with, but is separate from, the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. We are a growing group of parent, student, and community volunteers that strive to support the Livermore High School Instrumental Music Department (LHSIMD) in all facets. We work year-round to raise funds for the program to support the director, coaches, and students financially, logistically, and personally. While Livermore Music is primarily a booster's organization, we also build our community by supporting our ensembles' involvement in community events, local concerts, festivals, and more. With your support, we can continue to help the Livermore High School Music Department grow and serve even more students and members of our community.
