Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, sister-friend, best friend, coach, teacher, confidant, child of God, Verida "Rita" Taplin is battling a fight no one wants to or should have to fight.

Rita was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Yes, this was a shock to her and all those who love her. Needless to say, the shock has worn off because now the harsh realities must be faced.

Rita is about to undergo chemotherapy as her first course of treatment in what will likely be a year long treatment plan. As anyone can imagine, the doctor's appointments have been coming fast and furious; and so are the medical expenses.

We are reaching out to ALL who know and love Rita to ask for your support as well as prayers.
