Sonia has 3 beautiful children, twins boys and a little girl. Sonia has recently faced a messy marriage breakdown and forced sale of her home. In her words

"yesterday I cried for the first time with what has probably been the hardest part of my life; with the enormity of powerlessness that systems create. How is it actually possible that the primary carer and breadwinner walks away with nothing from the sale of a house that was made necessary by the other party not making payments. How is it 'just' that in supporting 3 kids without a single dollar from the other parent that my accommodation costs will soon be $1600/month and the other party will live without housing cost. How is it at all fair that in order to receive a single cent from what has been MY hard work, I'm forced to pay legal costs of $650/hour to navigate yet another broken system. I'm tired and I grieve the loss of my home and I worry for my kids who will endure 6 moves in the next 3 weeks."

This family has secured a rental house but it's not available for a number of weeks and to accommodate the family until then they need to be split up which is not ok!

The aim of this fundraiser is to accommodate the family sort term (which is expensive) until their rental is available. I would be most grateful for any contribution to this fund raiser and thank you in advance.
