We are hoping to raise funds for my sweet uncle, Jeff Scheumann. He was hit by a car in the early morning hours of Sept. 24th. Jeff and his brother were visiting Cincinnati to see their favorite baseball team, the Reds. Jeff loves sports and has been an avid golfer over the years. He is very active and likes to stay on the move, which is what makes this accident even more heartbreaking. Anyone who knows Jeff, knows that he is truly one of the most generous, compassionate, and kind people you will ever meet. He's never met a stranger and can strike up a conversation with anyone that crosses his path. Jeff sustained many injuries and broken bones from the crash including 3 broken ribs, a broken pelvis, shoulder blade, scapula, ulna, toe, knee, tibia, fibula, 2 broken bones in his neck, 2 broken bones in his back and many other scrapes and bruises. We are so grateful that Jeff survived but unfortunately he will have a very long road to recovery, including rehabilitation in Ohio before heading back to Virginia to continue his recovery.
