HELP AN UNDOCUMENTED OU STUDENT STAY IN SCHOOL!

This student came to the United States with his family as a one-year-old and has called Oklahoma home ever since. Over the years, they have become an incredibly active and valued member of the OU community, giving back in countless ways while working tirelessly toward their dream of higher education.

Unfortunately, due to the recent overturn of Okla. Stat. tit. 70 § 3242, their in-state tuition waiver was rescinded through no fault of their own. This sudden and unexpected change has left them facing a $15,000 bill that must be covered within the next week in order for them to stay enrolled.

This student has poured his heart into his studies, the Norman community, and his future. They're someone who believes deeply in education as a pathway to giving back. Losing this opportunity would mean more than just stepping away from school — it would mean putting their dreams on hold and losing years of hard work and dedication.
