Hello, my name is Sylvia Montes.
I am the oldest daughter of Alexander Daniel Montes. My beloved father went into Kaiser Hospital on Monday 11/30 and was fighting COVID. He went into cardiac arrest and passed away on 12/3/2020. He started getting symptoms on Thanksgiving but started getting worse so we advised him to go to the emergency room. My dad was a very proud man and for him to go into the hospital was a big deal and means he didn't feel good.  As I am writing this tears are streaming down my face and I can hardly see but I am trying to be strong for my mother Yvonne Montes. My father didn't have a life insurance policy, they denied him so we are asking for help for the funeral cost and burial. I know these are difficult times for everyone but anything will help. Our family is so heartbroken and devastated at this loss and we appreciate everyone who has reached out to us. We know you all wish to be with us but being that my mom is getting over COVID herself makes it difficult. We love you family and friends.
