The Michael Peacock Family

The Peacock family is requesting assistance in this time of need. Michael is experiencing paralysis of his feet and is unable to walk. He fell on slippery concrete resulting in a back injury. Then in a separate incident, sustained a fractured vertebrae and spinal cord contusion from a hard landing on his motorcycle. He spent 7 days in a trauma ICU and step-down. He is now at an inpatient rehab hospital that specializes in spinal cord injuries. Michael will remain hospitalized there for another month at least.  If you are reading this then you likely know Michael. As you know, he is not one to sit around and wait for things to happen. His employer has been wonderful. There are some FMLA benefits but it doesn't guarantee a regular paycheck. Financial help is being requested because there are so many unknowns to deal with. The Peacock family has already dealt with a year long battle with breast cancer for Dawn. In this situation, money should be a lower priority but it certainly adds significantly to the stress.
