Love For The Engleman Family

My dearest friends, Mary and John, and their children have had more than their fair share of heartache over the last few years. While their father was ill and dying they left their home to move into his and care for him. He was completely bed ridden and required 24/7 care as he slowly faded away from Polymyositis. Following his death they were faced with the chore of settling his estate which consisted of a high amount of nursing home fees for his short stay. While dealing with this sadness Mary was diagnosed with stage 3 sarcoidosis, which is a debilitating auto immune disease. She currently takes chemotherapy daily. She underwent many surgeries and was faced with numerous medical bills. All the while they kept on smiling and caring for their two young children. Mary volunteered for the schools PTAs and continues to oversee her daughter's youth cheerleading program. John is a very hard worker with 4 jobs and tries incredibly hard to provide for his family. John is a 911 supervisor, a volunteer fireman for 26 years, a part time FD apparatus operator, and a state fire academy programs evaluator. He also is the president of the Hanover Twp Fire District. Through all of their hardships they continue to faithfully serve their community in every way. They are members of St Leo's/Holy Rosary Church in Ashley. Last evening at 9:30 PM they were notified by their attorney that they were being evicted immediately from their family home so it could be sold to rectify the debt of her fathers estate. They were forced out in the middle of the night with no home to go to and without most of their belongings. They are essentially homeless and really need our help. They were forced out of their home with only their clothing. With two young children still in elementary school they are at the lowest point of their lives. Still dealing with numerous medical bills and future surgical procedures for Mary has placed a huge financial burden on this family. Please consider helping this lovely family get on their feet and help them to be able to see the goodness in the world. Much love, Katie.
