Noelle’s Story:

October 19th, 2023, our world was shattered and changed forever. My oldest daughter, who was nine years old at the time, told a professional that she was being sexually assaulted by her father. We were living on base at the time, and he was immediately removed from our home. Investigators came and completed a forensic investigation and interviews. My oldest daughter was sent for a physical exam, which concluded that she had been sexually assaulted. The investigators took my daughter’s mattress and her bedding for analysis.

Her father then admitted himself into the psychiatric hospital, where he was a patient several times until January 2024. While he was a patient in the psychiatric hospital, he began having sexual relations with another patient there. When he was discharged, he was allowed to come back to our home, but I was given almost zero notice and had to leave the base with all three of our girls without most of our belongings.

We were now homeless, and I had no source of income.

With help from my family, we were able to settle into a new home in another state, and I was able to get a reliable job.

I was never allowed to see any of the forensic reports or information on the investigation. He was eventually dismissed from the United States Air Force, and the case was dismissed. Just before Christmas and my birthday, I was served divorce papers.

Now that our divorce is finalized, the father of my children is trying to get joint custody of our four and five-year-old girls. My oldest daughter refuses to have anything to do with him since the assaults.

I still owe my divorce attorney five thousand dollars and also cannot afford a custody attorney. I desperately need help financially to afford a custody lawyer and to pay my remaining dues with my divorce lawyer. I am also asking for help finding a custody lawyer because I live in a very rural area of North Dakota and am struggling to even find an attorney that specializes in this field. I need your help to keep my girls safe from this predator.

Another one of his victims has come forward since all of this has been brought to light, but it is under investigation and not enough to stall custody proceedings.

I’m asking for any help financially, recommendations for a lawyer, and even just prayers for my three beautiful daughters to be safe and protected from this predator would be heavily appreciated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated so this does not happen to another innocent child.
