It is with a heavy heart that I have to say that my beautiful sister, Amanda Sternisha, has recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.  She learned of her diagnosis right before Thanksgiving and has been going through the emotional roller coaster of endless appointments and making decisions that will impact her and her daughter for the rest of their lives.  

She will begin chemo treatment on Monday, December 14th and have 6 cycles, 21 days apart, for 18 weeks.  After, she will have surgery (looking at a double mastectomy) and then possible radiation.  We are praying that everything goes as planned and as smoothly as possible. 

Being a single mom to her beautiful 14 month old daughter, Piper, Mandy works hard every day to provide for her family.  However, due to appointments and sickness, she will have to take a lot of unpaid leave and will be accumulating large medical bills.  We know that people may want to help Mandy during her road to recovery.  Any amount at all would help Mandy with her bills, daycare, groceries, and any other basic needs for her and Piper.  Your donation is a deeply appreciated gift to Amanda and Piper during this challenging time.
