Hello everyone, I'm raising funds to help Brodie Maksymetz get back on his feet. Brodie has been at Mount Sinai Hospital since mid-March and has been dealing with liver failure and requires a liver transplant. While he's waiting to become officially approved for the procedure, go on a list and hopefully become a recipient, he has started to undergo dialysis three times per week which he will need to continue to do on a long-term basis.

Brodie doesn't currently have any form of income/EI/sick leave/long term illness benefits and will need to subsist on ODSP. He also doesn't have an apartment or a stable housing situation in the city and will need to travel in and out of Toronto for ongoing medical treatment and appointments.

With that said, Brodie is one of the absolute bestest, funniest, saltiest sweethearts I know, and I'm sure many of you feel the same way. Hopefully we can all help alleviate a bit of the stress he's facing so that he doesn't have to worry about any additional burdens while trying to make his health his number one priority.
