On behalf of Antinika & Dontae Thomas: What started as a normal day, ended as our worst nightmare. Our son, Dontae Thomas Jr. (DJ) was airlifted to Prisma in Columbia, SC, on May 23, 2025 where he was diagnosed with two arteriovenous malformations (AVM). DJ underwent an emergency craniotomy to relieve swelling and will have to undergo another surgery once the inflammation reduces, to remove the second AVM. He is currently in the Neuroscience ICU, where he is under close monitoring.

The road ahead will be long and challenging. We are asking for your support during this difficult time. Any donations will go toward helping us with expenses such as travel, lodging, food, medical care, therapy, and other unforeseen costs that come with this journey.
