Jenny's Heart
Hi everyone, for those of you who dont know me, my name is Jessica. I met Jenny while we were both working at Shortstops about 8 years ago, we eventually became roomates and i know, lifelong friends. Jenny has a heart of gold, she is always there to lend a helping hand and help anyone in need. Jenny was three weeks old when she had her first heart surgery for an Aortic Stenosis. At the time, she was hospitalized for over a month. Jenny and her family always knew she would need more surgery eventually, and now 32 years later the time has come. Jenny went to the hospital last month after an episode with a migraine and by the time she left the hospital four days later she learned she would need open heart surgery. This time she will need a valve replacement, partial artery removal and a reconstruction of her ascending aorta. Her surgery is scheduled for early october and all of this makes for a long recovery time. She is expected to be out of work for at least three months while in cardiac rehab. Thankfully insurance will cover a lot but as a server she has no sick time or the means to pay the endless deductibles, co-pays on top of her everyday living expenses. Please keep Jenny and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Jenny is the last person to ask for help but I started this gofundme account to help Jenny with the financial burden that will follow after her surgery. As we all know medical expenses are not cheap and money is the last thing Jenny needs to worry about during her cardiac rehab and recovery. Thank you.
