Autumn's Anorexia Treatment

Donation protected
Who we are raising money for:

Rich and I are trying to raise money for our beautiful 12 year old daughter, Autumn, who is currently suffering from anorexia. Rich and I are struggling to pay for her intensive outpatient treatment program along with making financial ends meet. There are currently no treatment facilities in our area for young adolescents suffering from this terrible disorder that accept insurance in an out-patient setting. Our insurance company would consider her treatment under what is called a  "single case agreement" which means that the facility would send over an amount they want my insurance company to pay and my insurance company would pay for her treatment, but Autumn's facility center does not participate in this type of negotiations. Because of this, we are left with no  other options to pay for her treatment so Rich and I will be forced to take Autumn out of the treatment center and try to replicate what they do with Autumn at her treatment in-network with our insurance company.

How any money raised will be used:

Any money raised will go directly towards Autumn's treatment center, ED-180. We we granted a partial scholarship that has brought the cost of Autumn's treatment center from $1,200 dollars weekly to $800 dollars weekly or $3,600 dollars a month. A figure that is completely out of reach for Rich and I. The amount I'm trying to raise is the cost of 2 months of treatment.

Why this means so much to us:

Autumn is the oldest of our 4 children. She is an amazing blessing to us for God.  Anorexia (as with ALL eating disorders) is a "family disorder", we are ALL struggling to help Autumn while we navigate through these "uncharted waters", but Autumn deserves every chance possible to get well and recover from this disease. Since Autumn has started treatment she has gained 3 lbs and is making progress.  Without treatment Autumn will die from this disease. I know Autumn wants to get better but without the proper help and guidance she will never recover. Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you can't donate sharing this to spread the word of how expensive but necessary treatment is.

Thank you all so much,

Victoria and Rich Sharvin
