Missionary Family Needs Help

My brother Andrew Palm and his family have dedicated their lives to serving as missionaries, but they are now in desperate need of help. On March 26, 2023, their youngest sons, Elijah and Isaiah, were involved in a devastating car accident. Isaiah, who is 14 years old, was trapped in the car and had to be cut out by emergency responders. He was found unconscious and had to be flown by helicopter to Johns Hopkins hospital.

While Elijah sustained injuries but is expected to fully recover, Isaiah had serious fractures to his skull that exposed brain tissue, among other injuries. He needed emergency surgery to stop the bleeding in his brain, and a portion of his skull had to be removed to relieve pressure. He is currently in a coma with a poor prognosis.

Just a few years ago, Andrew and his family were forced to return to the United States from the mission field due to Andrew's deteriorating health. A few years ago, Andrew and his family also contracted Covid, and Andrew got the worst of it. He became bedridden, requiring oxygen and frequent hospitalizations, but he continued to work remotely with a school in the mission field. Just one day before the accident, Andrew had come home from surgery to help his condition, as he was unable to walk without assistance and is still recovering.

In addition to the medical and living expenses that have overwhelmed the family, Andrew is unable to work. His wife Nannette currently works two jobs to support them. This family has devoted their lives to helping others, but they are now in dire need of help themselves. Even if you cannot afford to donate, please spread the word and keep them in your prayers. Any help, no matter how small, will make a big difference in their lives.
