Walkers for Children

Hello friends, family and everyone reading this,
For those who don't know us, we are a group of determined, young Armenian adults living in different parts of the world. We are members and creators of Hye Helping Hands non-profit organization. Our mission is to aid and strengthen Armenian youth, one child at a time.
We are currently working on two different projects, both concentrated on helping children who are in need of medical help or supplies.
In 2011, we hosted a charity party and raised $1,500 which was used to make special walkers for children. The walkers were donated to Arbez Orthopedic Center in Yerevan. Dr. Karen Koloyan, an orthopedic surgeon, distributes them to children from financially unstable families after their surgeries.
Children who undergo different types of orthopedic surgeries can not fully recover unless they have a walker to help them move around. Each walker grants a child independence.
Our goal is to raise $1,500 before the holiday season.Every amount of donation helps us closer to our goal.
