Please Help Save Barkley's Life

On Tuesday 9/24, Barkley seemed a little less energetic than usual. By the next morning he was downright lethargic. He started vomiting, and stopped eating. This morning, blood tests showed high levels of blood nitrogen and creatinine. This indicates liver and kidney problems. The vet tentatively diagnosed him with the bacterial disease leptospirosis. He is currently in intensive care on an IV and antibiotics.

The prognosis is "good" and the vet is "hopeful". She did however say that this is potentially life threatening. I can barely keep my composure as I write of the thought of losing Barkley. I will do anything, and spend any amount of money to save him. So far the first visit's bill was $250, and today's bill is $922, of which I am short about $500. I was told to expect more bills as more care will be required.

I am begging anyone who knows me and how much a part of my life Barkley is, to please, if you can find it in your heart (and wallet) to donate even 1 penny to Barkley's care, I will literally pay you back with interest. Seriously. I do not want to keep it. I just can't come up with so much, in such a short amount of time. I will be eternally grateful. If you can't donate money, please at least donate your thoughts and prayers.
