Kids That Kare 2017

Kids That Kare is a charity that was started in 2014 by four young cousins and their families who wanted to make a difference in the world. For the past 3 years, KTK has hand delivered 200 Kare packages (at a value of $20/bag) filled with items such as gloves, hats, blankets, food, water, hand sanitizer, instant coffee, toothbrushes, Christmas cards, and much more to the homeless men and women of downtown Chicago. Christmas is truly a time of giving, and that is why we have picked this particular holiday to launch the KTK campaign every year. Each year, right before Christmas, a group of volunteers go downtown and walk the streets, handing out bags to those who need them the most. Not only are the bags the only Christmas presents that these people receive, but the contents of the bag will help them survive another harsh winter night. These bags remind the homeless that they haven't been forgotten, and that we care about them and want to help in every way that we can. Because of this, we are hoping to expand our bag count this year to 250 or more so that we can help even more people in 2017! Every donation is appreciated and 100% of funds go to purchasing items to go into the Kare packages. Thank you all so much for your support, and thank you to all of those who have helped KTK grow throughout the years! Let's all change the world one bag at a time!
