Raising Old Glory

Donation protected
As the father of a rescue swimmer in the Navy and the son of a World War II
veteran,  Senser tears up when he thinks of the military and coming together as
a nation. “One light by itself isn’t a big deal. But when we all come together with
our lights, it illuminates what the flag stands for,” John said.

A retired self-described patriot from Nebraska hopes to light up the night sky
with love July 3.
My family has been throwing shovels of coal into this steam engine for several months now and we have been listening for God to tell us what tracks to take and He has led us to The Buffalo Chip Station here in Sturgis SD. The train has been slowed down at times with the high steep ranges to traverse, but with the spirit of the little engine that kept saying, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can," we are about to reach the summit where we can see off in the distance below the Buffalo Chip Station. Clear the tracts! because this train is barreling down the mountain and it ain't stoppin till Old Glory is raised!

On that night, John Senser hopes to bring together people of every race and
religion to unite under the world’s largest American flag.

The US. has challenges, but I think this could be the epicenter for healing in
this nation right here in South Dakota,” he said. “I’d love to see a procession
of people walking under it and lighting it up. We’re all Americans.”

Senser’s plan will see hundreds of people gather at the Buffalo Chip Campground
to both hold and walk under the flag in an hourglass formation, with people
who are spread out — both literally and metaphorically — gathering closer to walk under the flag with a flashlight or cell phone light before spreading back out as they come from under the flag.

Funds raised will go toward funding this event, also benefiting and supporting  Our Men and Women veterans.

Anyone who makes a donation of $100 can hold the flag, or sponsor an active duty person, veteran that will be holding the flag. We need 600 people to hold the flag that weights over 3000 pounds.

Funds or donations are needed
ASAP by July 1st 2020. through your generosity and supprt we can make this dream possible. For more information you can go to our website www.raisingoldglory.us or call John E. Senser [phone redacted] or Dane Senser [phone redacted].  "Thanks and God Bless America"
