Keep girls in school
*Keep Girls in School: Supporting Teenagers in Rural Zanzibar*
Many teenage girls in rural Zanzibar are forced to miss school due to the inability to afford sanitary pads during menstruation. This results in an average of 100 days, or approximately 3 months and one week, of missed school annually. Consequently, these girls often experience poor academic performance, stigma, low self-esteem, and diminished confidence.
To address this issue, we invite donations from individuals. Together, we can support over 200 girls across more than 3 villages, helping them stay in school and thrive academically. Join us in making a difference and ensuring these girls' right to education and dignity with a small gift of 20€.
Abdoul and me are organizing the distribution.
