On October 24, 2013 Vanderbilt Kappa Kappa Gamma is hosting our
biggest philanthropy event of the year, "Kappa Kappa Gala." At Gala, our sisters
perform dances for attendees and have guest performances from dancing and
singing organizations on campus to provide further entertainment.
The event raises money for our two philanthropies, The Sports 4 All Foundation and The Jessica Herron Fund. The Sports 4 All Foundation is a non-profit organization that works towards improving the lives of those with disabilities by providing opportunities for participation in athletic and recreational activities. In the spring, our sisters organize a Field Day where we participate with Sports 4 All's members. The Jessica Herron fund is a scholarship in memory of a Vanderbilt Kappa who passed away in 2005. The scholarship fund has already helped to send three members of Kappa Kappa Gamma to college or graduate school.
In order to help make Kappa Kappa Gala as successful as possible, we would love the support of our friends and family by providing a donation, of any amount, to our philanthropic causes. It is our biggest opportunity to make an impact on the Nashville community and it will make such a difference in many people's lives.
