Help Alyssa Fight Breast Cancer with Courage, Love, and Hope
Hi, my name is Sylvia Sandoval Perez, and I’m writing this as a mother who never imagined she’d be asking for help like this. Our daughter, Alyssa Eileen Perez, is just 25 years old—bright, kind, and full of dreams. She’s in the middle of building her future, studying hard, and inspiring everyone around her.
Then came the diagnosis: Stage 2, Triple-Negative breast cancer. It hit us like a wave.
Alyssa also tested positive for the BRCA1 gene mutation, which means her treatment must be aggressive and comprehensive. Her doctors have recommended chemotherapy, immunotherapy, a double mastectomy with reconstruction, and possibly radiation. It’s a long, painful journey—six to eight months of fighting for her life and her future.
But Alyssa is strong. She’s still going to school as a second-year law student at St.Marys , still smiling, still showing up with courage. She’s not giving up. And neither are we.
We’re asking for help to cover the out-of-pocket costs of her treatment. Insurance helps, but it doesn’t cover everything—not the co-pays, not the medications, not the travel, not the unexpected. Every donation will go directly toward Alyssa’s care and recovery.
If you can give, thank you. If you can share this page, thank you. If you can send a prayer or a kind word, thank you. Every bit of support lifts her up and reminds her she’s not alone.
We are deeply grateful for your love, your generosity, and your belief in Alyssa’s future.
With all our hearts,
Sylvia Sandoval Perez and family
